Shalimar Bagh Srinagar: A September Visit Filled With Memories, Mughal Beauty & Wazwan Some places are beautiful because of what we see, while others become special because of what we have lived there. Shalimar Bagh is one such place for me. On 25 September, we visited the magnificent Shalimar Bagh in Srinagar, Kashmir. It was a day filled with laughter, beautiful surroundings, photography, history, delicious food, and a few memories that took me years back. The garden was full of tourists. Families, couples, friends, and visitors from different parts of the country were enjoying the beauty of this historic Mughal garden. Some flowers had already started fading, and the garden was showing the first signs of the approaching winter. Yet, there was something incredibly beautiful about that seasonal transition.
